These suppliers must retain a recognised environmental policy within their organisation (ISO 14000/14001 Environmental Management Standard).
Paperless Environment
Our goal is to eventually become a totally paperless business. During the past twelve months we have successfully reduced our paper usage by over 60%.
Product Packaging
In a joint effort with our global manufacturing partners we have managed to reduce the amount of product packaging by over 40%.
Recycling
It's our goal to recycle over 50% of the packaging used to ship incoming goods.
Web Hosting
Nordic have strengthened their environmental commitment, choosing 1and1 as their new web host.
1&1 and BEF (Bonneville Environmental Foundation) work in tandem with Green-e, the nation's leading voluntary certification program for renewable energy, to power their data center with clean, renewable energy. Green-e certifies renewable energy that meets environmental and consumer protection standards that it developed in conjunction with leading environmental, energy and policy organizations.
